We staked the bay with our trail to the bomber crossing. The bay has good ice; there is 7-8 inches in most spots but in a couple spots were 6 inches. Overall, it is nice clear, and solid ice. ![]()

As you can see at our bomber crossing onto the lake, it is piled up as usual. We are waiting for a backhoe that will be coming on Wednesday to start leveling things down. The first 25 yards off the shore are piled up. After that, there is white ice that’s a little rough but not anything that the drags can't level down- this goes out to 16 feet of water.![]()

As you can see in the video, it's broken open about 300 yards wide. Looking East along Pine Island is open and looking to the West across Morris Point towards Zippel Bay is open the same. ![]()

This whole week looks like south wind and warmer temperatures. We need cold to lock things up so stay safe and be careful. Watch for further updates. Thanks Bob and Wanda.

Here are a few pictures of the lake today! There is about 4 inches of ice as of now, and it opened from a South wind at Pine Island all the way down to Graceton Beach. ![]()

The opening is about 100 yards long by Graceton Beach that narrows back towards Morris Point and Pine Island about 10-15 yards wide. Definitely needs some more cold temps to thicken the ice up! ![]()

Bostic Creek has 6-8 inches of ice. On Monday, we will be marking the bay from the resort to the Bomber crossing. We are expecting some warmer temperatures in the high 30s to low 40s at the end of this week. As always stay safe and check with the local resorts before venturing out!
